Eldik Bank has joined the international PCAF initiative

OJSC Eldik Bank has joined the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF), becoming the first financial institution from the Kyrgyz Republic to join this global partnership.

PCAF is a global financial sector initiative that brings together banks, investors, and insurance companies to assess and disclose greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with their financial activities. The PCAF methodology is an internationally recognized standard for measuring emissions related to financial activities and supports greater transparency and accountability in climate-related reporting across financial institutions.

Joining PCAF represents an important step in the implementation of OJSC Eldik Bank's sustainable development strategy and demonstrates the Bank's commitment to international principles of sustainable finance, responsible banking, and ESG practices.

Participation in the initiative will enable the Bank to:

- enhance its system for measuring and assessing the climate impact of its lending and investment portfolios;
- implement international best practices in sustainable finance;
- improve the transparency of climate-related disclosures;
- strengthen cooperation with international financial institutions and partners.

Eldik Bank is one of the leading financial institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic and plays an important role in the development of the country's economy and financial sector. The Bank consistently implements modern approaches to sustainable development, supports projects that contribute to environmental and social sustainability, and actively advances ESG management practices.
