New Concessional Loan under the Project “Improving Air Quality in the Kyrgyz Republic” for Environmentally Friendly Heating

Who is eligible for the loan:

- Individuals — homeowners and families living in private houses in the city of Bishkek

- Companies and Individual Entrepreneurs — suppliers and installers of environmentally friendly heating equipment

Permitted use of funds:

Purchase and installation of:

- heat pumps;

- solar thermal collectors;

- solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and energy storage systems;

- other types of environmentally friendly heating, including consumables.

Loan amount: — up to 1,000,000 KGS — for individuals — up to 5,000,000 KGS — for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs

Interest rate: — 8% per annum (APR – 8.32%) — for individuals — 10% per annum (APR – 10.5%) — for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs

Loan term: up to 60 months

Collateral: — up to 300,000 KGS — no collateral required — above this amount — real estate, deposit, or additional collateral

Warm homes — cleaner air for the city.
