The Kyrgyz-Kazakh Roundtable on the Development of Islamic Finance Held in Bishkek

Representatives of the Islamic Window of OJSC Eldik Bank participated in the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Roundtable on the Development of Islamic Finance.

On July 15, 2026, representatives of the Islamic Window of OJSC Eldik Bank took part in the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Roundtable on the Development of Islamic Finance, held in Bishkek at the initiative of the Association of Islamic Finance.

The event brought together representatives of the government authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, financial institutions, international development organizations, industry experts, and business representatives to discuss current issues and future prospects for the development of the Islamic finance industry.

During the roundtable, participants discussed the enhancement of the regulatory and legal framework, the development of Islamic banking and Islamic banking windows, Islamic microfinance, Islamic insurance (Takaful), the Islamic capital market (Sukuk), as well as the implementation of international standards and digital solutions in the field of Islamic finance.

The participation of representatives of the Islamic Window of OJSC Eldik Bank reflects the Bank’s commitment to advancing Islamic finance in the Kyrgyz Republic, promoting the exchange of international expertise, and strengthening cooperation with key stakeholders in the industry.
