Leasing

Target group:

Participants in agro-industrial clusters with access to preferential credit funds administered by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic may be:

• aggregator is a key link in the agro-industrial cluster (processing enterprises, trade and logistics centers), which carries out operations to consolidate products, change the state of products (processing, sorting, packaging), formalize them (certification) and promote products (marketing and sales) further along value chain, as well as activities to increase the competitiveness of the regional product and the degree of deep processing around which the cluster is built;

• agricultural (agro-food) producer - individual entrepreneurs or legal entities running personal subsidiary plots, producing agricultural, fish farming, agroforestry products;

• subcontractors - individual entrepreneurs or legal entities, including suppliers of funds, educational and research institutes, higher education institutions and other entities providing goods or services in the field of agriculture for aggregators of the agro-industrial cluster or agricultural (agri-food) commodity producers;

• trade and logistics center - an enterprise in which agricultural products are consolidated with the possibility of their preliminary processing and/or sorting, and/or packaging, and/or storage with subsequent delivery to agricultural and other markets;

• seed-growing, nursery and breeding farms;

newly formed enterprises of the food and processing industry based on the recommendations of the Council, in accordance with banking legislation and the requirements of participating banks.

Purpose:

- acquisition of agricultural, irrigation, watering and special equipment, agricultural vehicles, agro-industrial and farm equipment;

- acquisition of equipment for processing agricultural products;

- acquisition of drip irrigation systems and sprinklers, drilling rigs for drilling wells for irrigation purposes, pumping stations, resource-saving/green technologies;

- acquisition of highly productive breeding farm animals and birds

Leasing amount:

- up to 30.0 (Thirty million) soms inclusive - for agricultural producers and subcontractors;

- up to 300.0 (Three hundred million) soms inclusive for cluster aggregators

 

Leasing term:

up to 84 months

Interest rate:

6% per annum

effective interest rate from 6.25%

 

Lessee's down payment:

- the initial payment of the lessee in monetary terms must be at least 10% of the cost of the leased asset, excluding other direct expenses.

- In the future, the down payment made will be used as the first leasing payment on the day the lease is issued.

- The lessee is obliged to contribute, separately from the down payment, funds to pay direct costs for customs clearance and registration, as well as funds to pay the insurance premium for the entire leasing period.
