Scammers in messengers

Today, scammers are increasingly using messaging apps to deceive people. They may contact you pretending to be a friend, colleague, or even a relative.
What the scheme looks like you receive a message:
- “Hi, can you urgently lend me some money?”;
- they send a card number or a link for transfer;
- they ask you to transfer the money as quickly as possible.
What is important to remember:
- do not transfer money immediately after receiving a message;
- do not click on suspicious links;
- always verify the information — call the person directly.
How to protect yourself:
- confirm the request by phone;
- enable two-factor authentication in messaging apps;
- do not send money to strangers.
If you have doubts or notice suspicious activity — do not make a transfer and contact your bank.
