Training for Eldik Bank employees by UN Women
Today, the UN Women Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, together with Eldik Bank, conducted a training for the bank’s employees on the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) within the framework of the signed memorandum. Employees from various structural divisions of the bank participated, which allowed for discussions on gender equality from different professional perspectives.
Dr. Sayed Sadiq, Representative of UN Women in the Kyrgyz Republic, highlighted the active participation of the Eldik Bank team and their commitment to WEPs principles:
“Gender equality is a necessity for the bank. It strengthens partnerships, builds trust, and contributes to business growth.”
Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of Eldik Bank, Aichurek Jakypova, emphasized:
“Together, we are creating a working environment where the contribution of every woman to sustainable development is valued.”

They are 7 principles that help companies and organizations implement gender-responsive policies, ensure equal opportunities for women and men, and foster an inclusive corporate culture.
