&laquo;Eldik Bank&raquo; OJSC has become the first financial institution in the Kyrgyz Republic to be accredited by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) - the world&rsquo;s largest global fund dedicated to financing climate change mitigation and adaptation projects.

The accreditation decision was made during the Green Climate Fund&rsquo;s 44th Board meeting (B.44), which is currently taking place in Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea, from March 25 to 28, 2026. Receiving this status confirms the Bank&#39;s compliance with international requirements in corporate governance, environmental and social risk management, and its ability to structure and implement investment projects with international financing.

Accreditation provides the Bank with direct access to GCF resources and creates new opportunities for attracting long-term financing to the Kyrgyz Republic. This will enable the implementation of projects aimed at enhancing climate resilience, developing energy-efficient solutions, sustainable infrastructure, and other priority economic areas.

Eldik Bank OJSC views the accreditation it has received as an important step in strengthening its role as a financial institution that ensures the attraction and effective use of international resources to support the country&#39;s sustainable development.

Achala Abeysinghe, Director of the Green Climate Fund&rsquo;s Department of Investment Services said:&nbsp;

&ldquo;We are pleased to welcome Eldik Bank Open Joint-Stock Company as an Accredited Entity of the Green Climate Fund. The Bank&rsquo;s accreditation creates new opportunities to expand access to climate finance in Kyrgyzstan and mobilize private sector investment in support of national climate priorities.

GCF is committed to partner with more national financial institutions to strengthen country ownership of climate action and the ability to scale up sustainable investments. As we move forward, GCF&rsquo;s revised Accreditation Framework will enable the Fund&rsquo;s partnership model to become even more transparent, responsive, and efficient, enhancing fairness and country ownership.&rdquo;

“Eldik Bank” is the first bank in Kyrgyzstan accredited by the Green Climate Fund

On January 21, the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the UN Global Compact Network in Central Asia was held. The meeting was attended by Ulanbek Nogaev, Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC &ldquo;Eldik Bank,&rdquo; who is a member of the Network&rsquo;s Board of Directors.

During the meeting, the results of the Network&rsquo;s activities for 2023&ndash;2025 were reviewed, and key approaches to shaping the work strategy for the 2026&ndash;2030 period were discussed.

The proposed strategy предусматривает the development of partnership-based formats of cooperation between companies, the expert community, and international partners; the implementation of joint initiatives; the promotion of best practices in sustainable development; as well as the use of analytical and research tools to develop sustainable business solutions and enhance the competitiveness of companies in the region.

It should be noted that OJSC &ldquo;Eldik Bank&rdquo; is an active participant in the UN Global Compact and became the first bank in the Kyrgyz Republic to join the Network in 2023, alongside more than 17,000 leading companies from 160 countries worldwide. The Chairman of the Bank&rsquo;s Management Board, Ulanbek Nogaev, is the only representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to be included in the Board of Directors of the UN Global Compact Network in Central Asia.

Commenting on the results of the meeting, Ulanbek Nogaev emphasized that the UN Global Compact Network is a significant international platform for promoting the principles of sustainable development and responsible business conduct. According to him, participation in the Network enables companies to implement best international practices, strengthen their contribution to social and environmental development, and improve the quality of corporate governance. In this regard, he called on representatives of the Kyrgyz business community to more actively join the UN Global Compact Network and leverage its potential for sustainable and long-term development.

For reference: The UN Global Compact Network in Central Asia brings together more than 100 companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan that have declared their commitment to the principles of responsible business conduct and their readiness to take practical steps toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Eldik Bank: The UN Global Compact as a Platform for Responsible Business

Eldik Bank took part in a training organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) dedicated to ILO conventions on preventing discrimination in the workplace. The event was held as part of the global &ldquo;16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence&rdquo; campaign.

Representing the Bank, Gender and Inclusion Manager Jyldyz Abdyldayeva delivered a presentation on the Bank&rsquo;s Gender Equality Policy. She outlined the Bank&rsquo;s key approaches to promoting equal opportunities and creating a safe working environment.

During the training, participants reviewed the core provisions of the ILO Convention on Discrimination in Employment and Occupation (No. 111) and the Convention on Violence and Harassment (No. 190), with a focus on the role of employers and effective practices for preventing discrimination and violence in the workplace. International experience and best practices from countries that have ratified and implemented ILO Convention No. 190 were also presented.

The Q&amp;A session allowed participants to discuss practical experience, current challenges, and ways to implement standards ensuring equality and workplace safety. As a result of the discussions, recommendations were developed for further implementation of Gender Equality Policies within organizations.

An ESG Score of 60 &mdash; a high ESG indicator &mdash; confirms the bank&rsquo;s deep transformation based on principles of transparency, environmental responsibility, and social equity implemented across all levels of the corporate structure.

The ESG rating of 60 is the direct outcome of extensive work on preparing the 2024 Sustainability Report, developed in accordance with the latest internationally recognized disclosure standards.

The bank proudly presented its second annual ESG Report, strengthening its position as the national leader in ESG and sustainable banking, as well as one of the key drivers of the green economy in the region.

On 18&ndash;20 November 2025, OJSC&nbsp;Eldik Bank&nbsp;is participating in the regional workshop on the&nbsp;Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WE Finance Code), organized by the&nbsp;EBRD&nbsp;in collaboration with the&nbsp;Financial Alliance for Women&nbsp;in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Today, the United Nations Children&rsquo;s Fund (UNICEF) held an event dedicated to World Children&rsquo;s Day under the slogan&nbsp;&ldquo;Children are our top priority!&rdquo;. The platform brought together representatives of the private sector, government agencies, and international organizations.

Eldik Bank took part in the event and officially joined the Business Advisory Council on Children&rsquo;s Issues, established with the support of UNICEF and the International Business Council. This partnership aims to develop systemic initiatives that promote the protection of children&rsquo;s rights and improve living conditions for children in Kyrgyzstan.

During the program, participants were presented with analytical information on the current situation of children in the country, as well as the&nbsp;Children&rsquo;s Rights and Business Principles. Particular attention was drawn to the panel discussion, where representatives of the private sector and the expert community discussed how businesses can contribute to advancing children&rsquo;s rights and which areas require joint efforts.

The CAREC Business Forum (CBF) is aimed at discussing the transformation of the region&rsquo;s transport corridors into economic corridors through digitalization and sustainable approaches.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, as well as the President of the Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda. More than 150 participants from CAREC countries discussed key sectors of the economy, including logistics, fintech, and green energy.

The session was moderated by and featured a keynote speech from the Minister of Economy and Commerce, Bakyt Sydykov. He provided a detailed overview of the latest economic development indicators of the country and presented to the forum participants the key goals and objectives of Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s National Development Program until 2030.

The event brought together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, financial institutions, and the sports and business communities.

The forum served as a unique platform for discussing biodiversity conservation, the role of the financial sector and green investments, as well as the development of environmentally responsible sports and tourism.

The forum, held under the motto &ldquo;Together for Green Innovations and Gender Equality,&rdquo;&nbsp;brought together leading experts in the fields of gender equality and green innovation, laureates of the 2025 CAREC Award for &ldquo;Gender Equality and Green Innovations,&rdquo; members of the Regional Gender Expert Group, and development partners.

The event was organized jointly with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), OJSC &ldquo;Eldik Bank&rdquo;, and UNISON Group.

As part of the forum, Eldik Bank organized and hosted the fourth panel session&nbsp;dedicated to environmental innovations and climate solutions led by women. Opening the session, Aichurek Zhakypova, Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of OJSC &ldquo;Eldik Bank,&rdquo; noted: 
&ldquo;For Eldik Bank, participation in this forum is not just an exchange of experience but a true partnership. We are convinced that sustainable development is impossible without women&rsquo;s involvement, innovative thinking, and joint efforts of the government, financial institutions, and the business community.&rdquo; 
The session featured women entrepreneurs and leaders of green projects from Mongolia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, who shared successful examples of implementing environmental solutions in business practices.

In partnership with UNISON Group, the forum also hosted an exhibition&nbsp;showcasing innovative green solutions implemented by women entrepreneurs and women&rsquo;s associations from CAREC member countries.

Eldik Bank Signs the UN Principles for Responsible Banking

Eldik Bank participated in the round table titled &ldquo;Development and Financing of Green Value Chains: The Role of Financial Institutions in the Implementation of the CS-FOR Project&rdquo;.

During the event, particular attention was given to issues of lending and financing. The bank presented a range of effective solutions in the agro-industrial sector, green economy, and the promotion of gender initiatives. 
Zhiydegul Saparaliyeva, Head of the Credit Department, gave a detailed presentation on the government programs implemented by Eldik Bank. These include KAPK, FOTP, FSH-13, pedigree livestock development projects, and other key directions.

Every third Saturday of September, Kyrgyzstan celebrates National Cleanliness Day. This date coincides with the global environmental initiative &quot;World Cleanup Day&quot; and serves as a reminder that caring for the environment starts with simple steps: cleaning public spaces and treating nature with care.

Traditionally, the large-scale initiative was joined by Eldik Bank and Beeline Kyrgyzstan, confirming their commitment to ESG principles and sustainable development. About 100 employees of the bank and the mobile operator participated in the cleanup event in Bishkek. The Eldik Bank and Beeline teams tidied up the area along the river at the intersection of Shabdan Baatyr Avenue and Lermontov Street. In just a few hours, they managed to collect over 100 bags of trash. The cleanup not only contributed to the city&rsquo;s cleanliness but also provided a great opportunity to strengthen team spirit and unite efforts for a common cause.

By working together, Eldik Bank and Beeline Kyrgyzstan steadily advance their ESG strategy, paying special attention to ecology, social issues, and corporate governance. Their joint participation in this annual environmental action is yet another example of how collective efforts can change the world for the better.

Together for Cleanliness: Eldik Bank and Beeline Held a Cleanup Event in Bishkek

Eldik Bank took part in the global initiative&nbsp;WSBI Social Week &ndash; 2025, which united financial institutions from 76 countries around the world. As part of the campaign, the bank organized an environmental event in Cholpon-Ata: employees planted more than 30 saplings in the city park and, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations&rsquo; Diving Training Center, cleaned the shore and bottom of Lake Issyk-Kul.

Clean-up campaigns at Issyk-Kul have already become a good tradition for Eldik Bank. Such initiatives reflect the bank&rsquo;s commitment to the principles of sustainable development and the ESG agenda.

Eldik Bank and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation on sustainable development, green and climate-oriented economy, and the introduction of innovative financial instruments.

The partnership will focus on expanding the banking sector&rsquo;s capacity to mobilize climate investments, developing and launching sustainable financial products, and integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards into the operations of financial institutions.

&ldquo;This cooperation opens new opportunities to scale up climate finance solutions in Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s banking sector. Together with UNDP, we aim to introduce products that promote green growth and sustainable business development for our clients,&rdquo; said Ulanbek Nogaev, Chair of the Management Board of Eldik Bank.

The MoU also provides for active knowledge exchange and joint analytical work on climate and sustainable finance, including the development of tools for climate risk assessment and integration of climate factors into lending practices.

UNDP Resident Representative in Kyrgyzstan, Alexandra Solovieva, emphasized that the partnership combines UNDP&rsquo;s international expertise with the potential of the financial sector to advance the climate transition. &ldquo;UNDP supports the development of sustainable finance solutions that reduce the carbon footprint of the economy, enable the green transformation of businesses, and create new opportunities for investment,&rdquo; she noted.

This cooperation supports Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s implementation of its international commitments under its updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, expand renewable energy, and strengthen climate resilience. In addition, UNDP is contributing to the development of financial markets as part of the implementation of the National Development Programme until 2030, which provides for the expansion of the regulatory framework for the development of green finance. Scaling up green and climate finance is a critical enabler of these goals, fostering private sector growth and sustainable development.

Thanks to these initiatives, we are reducing our ecological footprint and contributing to nature conservation, starting with ourselves and our offices.

Training sessions on waste separation rules are held at all Bank branches for employees. During these sessions, detailed explanations are provided on how to use the installed bins, what types of recyclables can be deposited, and which mistakes to avoid. Special attention is given to separating office paper and properly handling plastics.

Conducting such training events is an important part of our ESG approach. They help cultivate environmentally responsible behavior among employees and foster a corporate culture of sustainable development.

Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC&nbsp;Eldik Bank&nbsp;Ulanbek Nogaev has joined the Board of Directors of the UN Global Compact Network in Central Asia, becoming the only representative from Kyrgyzstan.

The election of the Chairman of the Management Board highlights the growing role of&nbsp;Eldik Bank&nbsp;in promoting the principles of sustainable development and strengthening Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s position in the regional and global ESG agenda.

On June 18, 2025, the official opening of the local office of the UN Global Compact in Central Asia took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The new office will become the leading platform for responsible business, bringing together companies from across the region to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, strengthen the international image of Central Asia, enhance investment attractiveness, and ensure sustainable economic growth.

On August 27, 2025, the first General Assembly of Network participants was held, bringing together about 100 representatives of organizations participating in the UN Global Compact from across Central Asia. The meeting reviewed the results of the Compact&rsquo;s activities in the region over the past three years and presented a vision for the further development of the Network.

One of the key agenda items was the formation of the Board of Directors&mdash;the governing body of the Network. Following the vote, Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC&nbsp;Eldik Bank&nbsp;Ulanbek Nogaev was elected to the Board. The Board also includes leaders of major companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The Board of Directors carries out strategic and oversight functions: it defines the Network&rsquo;s priorities, shapes the regional sustainable development agenda, and sets directions for international cooperation.

International rating agency S&amp;P Global Ratings has assigned a long-term credit rating of &ldquo;B+&rdquo; with a &ldquo;Stable&rdquo; outlook to OJSC &ldquo;Eldik Bank.&rdquo; This result reflects the bank&rsquo;s solid financial position as well as consistent support from the government. The rating, which is aligned with the sovereign level of the Kyrgyz Republic, confirms Eldik Bank&rsquo;s strategic importance to the national economy and its key role in the development of the country&rsquo;s financial sector.

In its report, the agency highlighted that Eldik Bank is the largest bank in Kyrgyzstan, with assets exceeding KGS 200 billion. The bank has successfully undergone a recapitalization of KGS 61.5 billion (approximately USD 700 million), significantly strengthening its financial base and enhancing its capacity to finance large-scale infrastructure projects.

S&amp;P also noted the bank&rsquo;s strategic focus on the development of agriculture, consumer lending, and infrastructure financing. A key area of emphasis is the digital transformation and the integration of Sky Mobile LLC (operating under the Beeline Kyrgyzstan brand) into the bank&rsquo;s ecosystem. This integration opens new opportunities for customers and expands the range of modern services offered.

S&amp;P separately emphasized the high systemic importance of Eldik Bank as a government-related entity (GRE) and acknowledged its plans to enter international debt and equity capital markets.

The &ldquo;B+&rdquo; rating supports the bank&rsquo;s strategy, which includes a debut Eurobond issuance planned for early 2026.

As part of the submitted project, Eldik Bank financed the construction of&nbsp;small hydropower plants (SHPs)&nbsp;in regions facing acute electricity shortages. For instance, in&nbsp;Batken region, the SHP is expected to generate over&nbsp;540 kWh per year, meeting the needs of&nbsp;more than 2,000 households, reducing energy loss in transmission, and lowering carbon emissions. In&nbsp;Chui region, a new SHP will reduce the region&rsquo;s dependency on imported electricity by&nbsp;1&ndash;2%. The implementation of these projects will also create&nbsp;over 200 jobs&nbsp;during construction and operation.

These initiatives represent a contribution not only to&nbsp;Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s energy security, but also to its&nbsp;environmental future, aligned with the principles of sustainable development. June 18 is Rural Women&#39;s Day in Kyrgyzstan, dedicated to the birthday of the outstanding agricultural worker and political figure of the Kyrgyz Republic Zuurakan Kainazarova. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), together with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision and with the participation of Eldik Bank, conducted a dedicated training on climate finance for commercial banks. The event is part of the ongoing preparation of Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0) and aims to engage the financial sector in the implementation of the country&rsquo;s climate commitments.

The banking sector is now seen not only as a participant in climate adaptation but also as an active partner in achieving national climate goals. Its engagement is becoming a strategic and equal component of the country&rsquo;s climate architecture.

The event brought together leading commercial banks, key government ministries, international organizations, and financial institutions to discuss concrete actions that will enable the banking sector to not only adapt to climate change but actively contribute to national climate objectives.

&ldquo;We count on the active involvement of banks in the NDC 3.0 preparation process &mdash; from assessing the costs of climate actions and developing financing mechanisms to exploring innovative solutions and, going forward, supporting the implementation and monitoring of our climate commitments,&rdquo;said Asel Raimkulova, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Climate finance is becoming an essential part of Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s sustainable economic trajectory. Participants explored the integration of green financial instruments, ESG principles, green bonds, sustainable credit lines, and climate risk assessment systems into banking practices.

Alexandra Solovieva, UNDP Resident Representative in Kyrgyzstan, announced a newly approved project developed jointly with the Government and the National Bank:&ldquo;Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of national financial institutions, expand access to green finance, and create enabling conditions for climate investment.&rdquo;

The training focused on developing the NDC 3.0 &mdash; Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s national climate action plan &mdash; which will serve as a blueprint for transitioning to a carbon-neutral economy.

&ldquo;Eldik Bank is actively advancing ESG approaches, introducing green products, and striving to become a driver of sustainable transformation. The Government is working on a new Green Economy Development Programme through 2029, with a particular focus on green energy as a core vector of development and climate adaptation. One of the programme&rsquo;s goals is to position Kyrgyzstan among the top 30 countries in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A green taxonomy is also being introduced to guide the evaluation and financing of environmentally sustainable projects.

President Sadyr Japarov has repeatedly reaffirmed Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s commitment to the Paris Agreement, including the target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 44% by 2030 and to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.

Kyrgyzstan is already experiencing the consequences of climate change &mdash; glacier melt, water insecurity, and threats to food security. Therefore, involving banks and investors is critical not only for the country&rsquo;s climate agenda but also for its economic strategy.

Following an active exchange, participants developed proposals and recommendations for inclusion in NDC 3.0, reflecting the needs and realities of Kyrgyzstan&rsquo;s financial market.

The event confirmed that Kyrgyzstan is building a national climate finance architecture &mdash; a result of joint efforts by the government, financial sector, and international partners, and a vital step toward meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement.

The preparation of NDC 3.0 is supported by UNDP under its global Climate Promise initiative, in partnership with the United Nations System in Kyrgyzstan.

Yesterday, the 11th Awards Ceremony for Rangers was held in Bishkek, organized by the &quot;Snow Leopard Foundation in Kyrgyzstan.&quot; The event was supported by Eldik Bank, which has been a reliable partner of this important initiative for many years.

The total issuance volume amounted to 200 million KGS, with a maturity period of 36 months and an annual interest rate of 11%. It is worth noting that 100% of the ESG bond issuance was acquired by the State Accumulation Pension Fund under the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.

This bond issuance marks a significant step in the bank&rsquo;s strategy to attract funding for sustainable development projects, as well as to promote greater social responsibility and environmental sustainability in Kyrgyzstan. Eldik Bank made its debut placement of ESG bonds

Eldik Bank OJSC became the first financial institution in the Kyrgyz Republic to prepare and present a Sustainability Report for 2023 based on the best practices of international standards.

At the presentation of the Report, the Chairman of the Board of Eldik Bank Ulanbek Nogaev noted the significance of this event for the entire financial sector of the country:

&quot;The 2023 Sustainability Report is an important indicator of the maturity and effectiveness of the bank&#39;s corporate governance. The document reflects key achievements, including the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement into corporate ESG transformation, carbon footprint assessment, and the implementation of an environmental and social risk management system,&quot; he said.

Another important event of the presentation was the announcement of the debut issue of ESG bonds. During the event, an investment memorandum on the repurchase of sustainable development bonds was signed between the Bank and the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.

&quot;The Social Fund supports programs and projects aimed at the sustainable development of social infrastructure and the country as a whole. Eldik Bank took part in the UN Climate Change Conference COP29, which took place in Baku, Azerbaijan. As a leading financial institution in Kyrgyzstan in the field of sustainable development, Eldik Bank actively supports initiatives aimed at solving environmental and climate challenges.

The bank&#39;s delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of Eldik Bank OJSC Ulanbek Nogaev held a number of important meetings with the world&#39;s largest companies, international organizations and experts in the field of ecology and sustainable development.

Our colleagues cleared the beach and the area adjacent to the shore of debris. Divers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations collected garbage and broconier&#39;s nets from the bottom of Issyk-Kul.

In the village of Sumsar, Jalal-Abad region, a sewing factory was opened with the support of Eldik Bank.

The Bank financed the opening of the enterprise by lending with its own funds from the Bank and the RKDF. The funds were used to reconstruct and modernize the factory, and equipment was purchased.

It should be noted that as part of its sustainable development and ESG strategy, the bank focuses on developing the local economy by creating new jobs and supporting women entrepreneurs. It is all the more significant that the company was founded by a female entrepreneur, Asel Atabekova. Thanks to the opening of the factory, 300 jobs were created for local residents in one of the remote areas of the republic.

Last week, the UN building in Almaty hosted a ceremony to award the winners of the SDG Ambition Acceleration Program of the UN Global Compact to achieve the SDGs, an innovative initiative to promote sustainable business practices.

The ceremony was attended by more than 30 companies from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

For the first time in the history of the UN Global Compact, Kyrgyzstan was represented by two companies. At the same time, Eldik Bank is the only financial institution in the republic that is a member of the UN Global Compact and the SDG Ambition Acceleration Program.

It is important to note that at the event, Eldik Bank was honored to present a project on setting ambitious goals.

SDG Ambition is a six-month educational course specially developed by UN experts and partners to accelerate the integration of 17 Sustainable Development Goals into the strategic and operational activities of business companies.

This program was launched for the first time in the countries of Central Asia. More than 100 representatives of 40 companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the Accelerator. As a result, 62 representatives from 31 companies were able to successfully complete the training. Including Eldik Bank OJSC.

In honor of its 27th anniversary, Eldik Bank donated sorting bins to the administrations of Balykchy, Cholpon Ata and Korumdu villages for installation on city beaches. This support was provided to help resolve the issue of natural landfills on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul. Eldik Bank was one of the first banks in Kyrgyzstan to become the holder of a certificate of conformity and permission to apply eco-labels - the &ldquo;Best Waste Management Practice&rdquo; label.

Last Friday, a gala event was held to present the eco-labels Green Waste Leaders - 2023, organized by the International Waste Management Network in Kyrgyzstan WasteNet.kg.

The &ldquo;Best Recycle Practice&rdquo; label is an independent environmental label for best waste management practices through the introduction of separate waste collection within a company for subsequent transfer for recycling and reuse.

As one of the largest banks in the country, Eldik Bank integrates ESG principles into its activities, which include a number of priority areas, including conscious consumption.

What measures is the bank taking in this direction?

	<li>Installation of eco-boxes in bank offices for waste sorting;</li>
	<li>Development of souvenir eco-products that are harmless to the environment;</li>

Last Saturday, 40 oak and chestnut seedlings were planted in the A.Botaliev Park as part of the ESG and the Zhashyl Muras national campaign. 

The boarding was attended by members of the bank&#39;s Board of Directors, headed by Chairman Ermeev Jirgalbek, and members of the Board of Eldik Bank, headed by Chairman Nogaev Ulanbek. 

Our team throughout the republic will be going out on clean-up days for several more weeks. 

We believe that the bank&#39;s initiative will serve as a good example for all Kyrgyzstanis.

On April 23, the staff of &ldquo;Eldik Bank&rdquo; held a clean-up day in Bishkek and the village of Ala-Buka. 

Employees in the capital cleared Baytik Baatyr Street (from A.Masaliev Street to Ortosai village) of garbage. 

The staff of the Ala-Buka branch cleared the surrounding area, planted rose bushes and Tien Shan fir trees. 

It is worth noting that the Bank will go out on similar clean-up days every week.
