Eldik Bank became a partner of the national hackathon Digital4Climate.KG, which brought together young developers, students, and IT professionals from across Kyrgyzstan. The initiative was implemented within the framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) global initiative “Climate Promise” and served as a practical contribution to the implementation of the Kyrgyz Republic’s third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0) — the country’s climate commitments under the Paris Agreement.

The hackathon focused on developing digital and innovative solutions in the field of climate change adaptation and sustainable development — ranging from renewable energy and energy efficiency to water resource management and sustainable agriculture. As part of the initiative, participants worked on projects with real potential for implementation and scaling.

“Supporting the Digital4Climate.KG initiative reflects Eldik Bank’s commitment to fostering an ecosystem of climate and digital innovation, as well as supporting the younger generation of entrepreneurs who offer practical solutions for the sustainable development of the Kyrgyz Republic,” said Aijan Karieva, Member of the Bank’s Management Board.
