Eldik Bank Obtains International ISO 27001:2022 Certification

For the first time in Kyrgyzstan, Eldik Bank has obtained the international ISO 27001:2022 certificate. The bank successfully passed an independent audit and officially confirmed that its information security management system complies with the international ISO 27001:2022 standard. This is one of the most widely recognized and stringent data protection standards in the world.

Obtaining the certificate means that the bank has implemented a comprehensive approach to security: it reliably protects the data of clients and partners, manages risks, and uses modern methods to prevent cyber threats.

As part of the preparation process, the bank updated its internal procedures, improved its security policies, and enhanced employee qualifications.

“Obtaining the ISO 27001:2022 certificate is an important step in strengthening the trust of our clients and partners. It confirms that the bank ensures a high level of information protection and follows the best global practices in the field of cybersecurity,” said Ulanbek Nogaev, Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC Eldik Bank.

Compliance with the standard opens up additional opportunities for the bank to develop digital services and cooperate with international organizations, where ISO 27001 is a mandatory or recommended requirement. The bank will continue to improve its information security systems and processes to ensure reliable data protection amid growing cyber threats.
