Eldik Bank – Partner of the Women’s Business Forum of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program

On October 21, 2025, the Women’s Business Forum of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program was held in Bishkek under the theme “Together for Green Innovation and Gender Equality.”

Eldik Bank OJSC was one of the key partners of the event, reaffirming its commitment to developing green technologies, empowering women, and promoting sustainable growth in Kyrgyzstan and the region.

The forum brought together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, financial institutions, and women’s business communities from Central and Western Asian countries.

The event aimed to promote gender-responsive green innovations — from sustainable agriculture to climate technologies and digital solutions. As part of the forum, Eldik Bank organized and hosted the fourth panel session dedicated to environmental innovations and climate solutions led by women.
Opening the session, Aichurek Zhakypova, Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of Eldik Bank OJSC, noted:
“For Eldik Bank, participation in this forum is not just an exchange of experience, but a true partnership. We firmly believe that sustainable development is impossible without women’s involvement, innovative approaches, and joint actions by the government, financial institutions, and the business community.”

The session featured women entrepreneurs and leaders of green projects from China, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, who shared successful examples of implementing environmental solutions in business practices.

In addition, with the support of Eldik Bank and Unison Group, an exhibition of women’s initiatives was held, showcasing green startups and innovative products created by women entrepreneurs. Eldik Bank is actively implementing its ESG strategy and programs aimed at supporting women’s entrepreneurship, developing green loans, and advancing sustainable financial solutions.
The Bank is also a partner of several national and regional initiatives focused on increasing women’s participation in the economy and promoting environmentally friendly technologies.
