Eldik Bank Enhances Security of Visa and Mastercard Cards

Visa and Mastercard cards issued from 13 July 2026 are now personalized without a CVV code printed on the back of the card.
The CVV (Card Verification Value) is a three-digit security code used to verify transactions when paying for goods and services online.
Removing the CVV code from the physical card enhances security, as unauthorized persons will no longer be able to view or copy the code. Card details, including the current CVV code, are now available only in the personal account within the Eldik Bank mobile application. This makes online payments even more secure.
For Visa Business corporate cards, the CVV code will continue to be printed on the back of the card as before.
Eldik Bank remains committed to implementing modern security solutions to protect its customers’ funds and personal data.
