How to tell a fake website from a real one?

• The website address contains errors, extra words, or symbols;

• There is no secure https connection and no closed padlock icon;

• Contact information is missing;

• There are spelling mistakes, outdated design, or modified logos;

• User agreements, payment, or delivery terms are absent;

• The site unjustifiably requests financial or personal data, such as:

  • internet banking login and password

  • SMS code

  • card CVV code

How to protect yourself:

• Do not follow links from unknown senders;

• Use saved bookmarks of official websites;

• Install and regularly update antivirus software;
