Eldik Bank participated in the forum “Business, Ecology, and Sports – Ak-Ilbirs 2025”
On October 23, Bishkek hosted the forum “Business, Ecology, and Sports – Ak-Ilbirs 2025”, dedicated to the International Snow Leopard Day, established by a UN General Assembly resolution initiated by the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event brought together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, financial institutions, and the sports and business communities.
The forum served as a unique platform for discussing biodiversity conservation, the role of the financial sector and green investments, as well as the development of environmentally responsible sports and tourism.
Eldik Bank presented its experience in implementing green financial instruments and corporate responsibility practices aimed at preserving Kyrgyzstan’s natural heritage.
The bank emphasized the importance of the financial sector’s involvement in building a sustainable economy, where natural resources are viewed as “natural capital” that requires investment and careful management.
Participation in Ak-Ilbirs 2025 became a logical continuation of Eldik Bank’s environmental mission. As part of its own initiatives, the bank supports projects focused on nature protection, the development of green loans, the installation of photo and video traps in nature reserves, as well as educational and volunteer activities aimed at preserving the snow leopard — a symbol of purity and resilience in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
